3g iphone- samsung instinct

So I've got an interesting equation and I was looking for input that could help my study have a conclusion. today I followed as Gizmodo covered the world wide developers conference held by apple. Got to say everything about the new iphone made me want to switch to ATT. I kept my expectations just a notch below average so I wouldn't be disappointed if this was the year that they didn't have the product to kill all products in whichever venture they traveled.....(speaking of venture got 2 say I'm liking the way season 3 of venture brothers is going)....i digress. anyways awesome phone. and on top of that right b4 I went and followed modo's live blogging of the event I read 2 dif reviews on the samsung instinct(the closest I'll ever get to an iphone as long as I'm stuck with sprint). anyways both the reviews acknowledged what everyone else was thinking. the instinct is not an iphone competitor but if anything just another iphone copy with a few sprint specific tweaks here and there.

Pretty much the reviews went along these lines, fairly snappy response with nice iphone alternatives on some specs but lacking on Internet speed. good thing they stopped doing those instinct over iphone commercials. I as well thought it was silly to compare your phone with the iphone right before they go 3G. the only way I could see samsung/sprint coming on top with that one is catching the eye of the people that are stuck under a rock gadgetry wise. but give them time. if they are not stuck to a particular provider like myself than if they simply wait by my opinion they'll come out with the better deal.

From My P.O.V. if your not stuck to a provider and your looking for a phone with a fairly good Graphical User Interface(GUI) for your money your best off with a 3G iphone or as G4 reported on earlier 2day just surf ebay for an iphone, unlocked if your on t-mobile or one of the other CDMA companies. first gen iphones prices are probably going 2 drop faster than the prices of U.S. Housing.

anyways considering this is my first blog I'll pat myself on the back for now. and if you don't mind I've got to give my wii fit a workout.

Update: looks like in the wake of the 3G iphone announcement Sprint and Samsung have decided to lower the instinct's price. You can get more info here. Things looking up for existing sprint customers on this one.
